Terms of Service

Version 1.0 · Effective 19 September 2026 · Last updated 19 September 2026 · hashstaz.com
In plain English: use the pool fairly. Do not spam, flood or attack it. We can warn, mute, suspend, ban or block you at any time — including automatically — and we can pause or shut the service down whenever we want. Mining might pay you nothing. We never hold your coins; the network pays the address in your username directly. Governed by Colorado law.
This is a development service. It may be changed, suspended, interrupted or shut down at any time, with or without notice. No funds, rewards or payouts are guaranteed.

1. Agreement

By accessing hashstaz.com, creating an account, connecting a miner or using any part of the service (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service is

HashStaz is a mining pool for DigiByte (DGB) and related networks. You point mining hardware or rented hashrate at our endpoints. Work is submitted as “shares”. When our miners find a block, the block's coinbase reward is paid directly by the network to the payout address embedded in your miner username, less the stated operator fee (currently 0.4%).

We do not hold, custody or control your coins. There is no account balance. We never take possession of your funds.

3. Eligibility & acceptable use

You agree you will not:

4. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, restrict, mute, ban or terminate any account, and block any IP address or mining address, at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without notice. This includes — but is not limited to — abuse, spam, attempted denial of service, suspected fraud, or suspicion of any violation of these Terms or applicable law. We may also suspend, pause or permanently shut down the Service itself, in whole or in part, at any time.

5. Automated abuse prevention

We operate automated systems that detect abuse — including message flooding, spam, repeated use of prohibited language, and mass account creation — and that may automatically suspend or ban an account, mute chat access, or block an IP address, without human review and with immediate effect. Automated actions are logged. If you believe an automated action was a mistake, you may appeal using the contact details shown on the ban notice.

6. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Mining is probabilistic: joining a pool or team does not guarantee that a block will be found, or that any reward will be paid, at any time.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HashStaz and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, nor for any lost profits, lost rewards, lost coins, lost data, downtime, or losses arising from the use of rented hashrate or third-party mining services. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the total fees you have paid us in the preceding three (3) months.

You are solely responsible for your mining address, your hardware and rented hashrate, your own tax obligations, and for verifying that rewards arrive.

8. Fees

An operator fee (currently 0.4%) is deducted from block rewards by the pool's coinbase construction before the remainder is paid to the mining address. Fee rates may be changed at any time. Fees already taken are non-refundable.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
